Julie’s passion and purpose is to serve other leaders by building their capacity to be their best selves, equipping them with the tools to build communities where others can thrive and grow. She currently does this through her work in St. Louis where she serves as a Director of Innovation and Leadership at a non-profit SEL and Character Company called CharacterPlus and through her lead facilitation role at the University of Missouri's Center for Character and Citizenship. Her 30+ year educational leadership journey includes middle school teacher, counselor and 17 years in administration where she led her school to become a state and national school of character. Currently, she develops and implements social, emotional and character leadership academies and experiences from California to the Midwest and beyond!
